Catrett Earns Awards, Scholarships At 2018 Junior Beef Expo

Catrett won division champion for Lim-Flex during the Junior Beef Expo (JBE) Heifer Show March 16. She was also the Lim-Flex Bred & Owned champion. She is pictured with winning heifer, CCAT Bailee 817E, and family.

Cameron Catrett of Crenshaw County was presented the $500 Louise Wilson Alabama CattleWomen’s Scholarship at the Junior Beef Expo (JBE) March 16 at the Teague Arena in Montgomery. She is pictured judge Owen MacFarlane of Texas A&M University, Alabama CattleWomen and past scholarship recipients.
JBE is presented by the Alabama Farmers Federation and held in conjunction with the SLE Rodeo at Garrett Coliseum in Montgomery.
Crenshaw County Student Receives $1,750 Agriculture Foundation Scholarship
Auburn University student and scholarship recipient Trent Warrick was recognized during the Alabama Farmers Federation 2017 Scholarship Recipients Luncheon Aug. 19 at the Ham Wilson Arena in Auburn. Warrick studies pre-agriscience education.The $1,750 scholarship was funded by the Crenshaw County Farmers Federation and the Federation’s Alabama Farmers Agriculture Foundation.
